Hi Marty,

This sounds like something I might bowl, but I had one questions, at least for now. The last chance squad, which is $20 more than the other squads, is that the Sunday Morning squad? And I guess this is question two.....if you bowl one of the Saturday squads and don't make it and bowl the Sunday to retry, is that the last chance retry amount?

Thanks,

The other foot.

You are correct. I'm trying to encourage people to bowl on Saturday. If someone wants to bowl the event in one day, they can, it's just going to cost a little more. So, If you have entered the tourn on Saturday then bowl the last chance squad it is $70. Otherwise if your first entry of the weekend is Sunday, it is $80.

The top score from each squad (Sat and Sun) will earn a spot in the finals instead of the top 2 like I had first mentioned. Their is only 16 spots for the final bracket. BUT, you can still cash in the tournament even if you don't make the top 16, payout is at least 1 in 5.

What we are trying to do is keep the entry cost down and still achieve a good 1st place prize. I'm looking at a $600 1st place at minimum and would like to get it up to $1,000 or more.

First Place this weekend will be $600, no matter how many entries. If we get to 80 entries, first will be $1000. The winner will also win a trophy.

The cost of the last chance squad, re-entry is $60 instead of $70.
Entering averages are your 616 average rule of high last year book or, if you have one, the 616 rating minus the non cashes as stated in the rules. The average list on the website at 616trios.com will be updated after the singles event for the next season.

Bowlers first, me second. Hope to see you soon.

I think that this tournament has a very unique format and is something that is actually worth while to bowl (entry to payoff + the ability to re-enter is amazing). If I was still bowling I would definitely get in on this tournament!!!!
